Baked Hazelnut Falafels
Such a simple and nutritious recipe! No frying, just baking.
ingredients
For 9 falafels:
roasted hazelnuts (30 g)
roasted pistachios (15 g)
cooked chickpeas (200 g)
garlic powder
paprika powder
tahini (2 tbsp) or sesame seeds (4 tbsp)
olive oil (2 tbsp)
millet (30 g)
lemon juice
ground cumin
salt, pepper

praženi lešniki (30 g)
pražene pistacije (15 g)
kuhana čičerika (200 g)
česen v prahu
paprika v prahu
tahini (2 žlici) ali sezamova semena (4 žlice)
olivno olje (2 žlici)
prosena kaša (30 g)
limonin sok
mleta kumina
sol, poper
Method
Put all ingredients except nuts in a food processor and mix until you get a uniform mixture.
Meanwhile, ground the nuts.
Take a bit of the mixture and shape it into a ball with your hands. Roll each one in the ground nuts until evenly covered.
Place onto a baking tray (parchment paper).
Bake in the oven for about 20-30 minutes at 180°C, checking halfway through and flipping over.
Serve with a lot of tomato sauce and/or other vegetables, salads, hummus, etc. You can store them for the next days.
